What I discovered on the other side was this: execution without self-awareness doesn't scale. It just hides the leak until the leak becomes a crisis. The founders I work with aren't struggling because they don't know enough. They're struggling because the pressure to "perform" certainty is overriding their ability to "read" reality. That gap between what the numbers say and what the CEO believes is where most companies break. That season made me allergic to reckless growth and performative leadership.
