About

Most companies between $5M and $50M hit the same wall. Marketing is running. Money is being spent. Dashboards look fine. But growth is flattening, acquisition is getting more expensive, and nobody can clearly explain why the investment isn't producing the return it should. The founder knows something is off. They've hired marketers, tried agencies, invested in tools. The activity is there. The impact isn't. And every quarter they don't fix it, the gap between them and the competitor who figured it out gets wider. That's where I come in. I've spent 12+ years doing this on agency side, in-house, and now embedded inside growth-stage companies as their marketing leader. I've sat in the seat. I know what breaks between $5M and $40M because I've seen it break the same way, across SaaS, consumer tech, and DTC. I plug into the business. Not as an advisor who sends decks. As the person who diagnoses the real constraint, kills what's wasting money, aligns the team around what actually matters, and builds the system that makes marketing compound instead of just cost. Most of the time, the fix isn't what the founder expects. It's not the channel, the team, or the budget. It's the strategic layer underneath all of it — the positioning, the story, the system — that nobody has built or that hasn't been updated since the company was half its current size. When I'm not building marketing systems, I'm surfing, exploring new cities, or taking the long, unpaved road with the top off my Jeep. If your marketing is producing activity but not growth, let's talk.
