As a seasoned marketing executive with over two decades of experience, I specialize in driving exponential growth for startups, mid-market firms, and Fortune 1000 companies within the SaaS, ecommerce, and circular platform sectors. I thrive as a strategic leader and possess a full agency's worth of tactical delivery skills, so whether it's strategic leadership of a team or acting as more of a player/coach while building a team, we'll succeed at at a high level. Effective marketing strategies require a combination of data analysis, audience identification, and effective messaging delivered via the right channel at the right time, ideally being optimized and tuned by AI. A strategy combining all of those aspects can be a challenge, especially with the rapid tech stack innovation and AI tools being introduced, but that's where I add the most value. I bring order to the potential chaos of modern marketing technology and channels, orchestrating and harnessing the power of these modern platforms to deliver the right messaging on-time to the right individual. I firmly believe that artificial intelligence has it's place in a modern marketing team. I've experienced effective content generation, research, data analysis, organic search optimization, and paid search optimization while experimenting with more advanced AI-based automation. The key to leveraging AI in marketing is to realize that it's not some magic bullet, but a tool that needs to be trained, and challenged, and sanity-checked over a period of time in order to become valuable. An over-reliance on AI leads to generic content and campaigns with low engagement, while an under-reliance on AI can cost productivity. Threading that needle requires constant vigilance and refinement of AI-based technology. As buyers become more savvy, it is up to marketers to make our messaging relevant via increasing levels of personalization. That applies to the B2B segment as much as it does retail, as buyers increasingly expect the full Amazon-like experience.
