I am an experienced technology marketing executive with over 20 years of leadership experience. A serial CMO with focus on mid-sized Private Equity-backed SaaS software companies, I use my expertise across marketing disciplines to enhance brand strategy, operationalize demand generation efforts to drive growth and build high-performing marketing teams. In most of my head of marketing positions, I managed sales development teams alongside marketing. A few things to know about me: - I think first about overall business health. What this means is I am a key contributor to executive leadership teams and am able to make the important trade offs to support the business. I am committed to teaming with sales, customer success and product. I work closely with finance to ensure that marketing spend delivers. - I am a revenue marketer. This means I focus on the real results (revenue and pipeline), while tracking many other metrics as indicators to future success. - I have a hands-on style. I set direction and goals for my team but I also roll up my sleeves to get work done. - I am a data-driven and process-oriented leader. While I'm used to working without complete information, I find providing structure helps my team and data guides better decisions. I love digging into reports of all types. - I have been building my generative AI skills including leveraging ChatGPT and Bard to write social media posts, blogs, and even build presentation outlines, all with proper human oversight to ensure accuracy and quality. I see AI as a huge potential boost to productivity.
