About

Most businesses don’t have a marketing problem. They have a marketing strategy and systems problem. Too many companies jump straight to tactics — SEO, paid ads, social media, or a new website — without first aligning the strategy that should guide those efforts. When strategy is missing, tactics become expensive experiments. I work with organizations to align strategy, automation, and execution so marketing becomes a reliable engine for revenue instead of a constant cycle of disconnected campaigns. My focus is helping businesses build marketing systems that scale — systems that generate demand, support sales, and reduce dependence on one-off tactics. ----------------------- I’m currently expanding this work through fractional CMO partnerships, helping companies bring executive-level marketing leadership into their organization without the overhead of a full-time CMO. Over the past three decades I’ve worked at the intersection of marketing, sales, and operations, helping companies grow by building smarter systems instead of chasing the next marketing trend. I’m also the author of The Painting Contractors Survival Kit, a guide focused on helping contractors understand how strategy, systems, and relationship-based marketing drive long-term growth. My approach starts with strategy: • Clarify the market position • Align marketing with revenue goals • Build systems that support sales • Execute tactics that reinforce the strategy Just as important, my goal is to empower the organization itself. I work closely with owners and teams so the strategies, systems, and skills continue to drive growth even when I’m not directly involved day to day. Because the goal of marketing isn’t activity. The goal is predictable revenue growth. I work primarily with home improvement and technology-driven service businesses, including industries such as painting, roofing, windows & siding, solar, remodeling, managed services, commercial A/V, broadband, and Wi-Fi. These organizations often reach a point where marketing becomes complex and leadership needs strategic clarity and alignment across teams. That’s where I typically come in. If you're interested in building smarter marketing systems that support long-term growth, let’s connect.
