About
Rebecca currently serves as a Fractional CMO for companies within the vacation rental industry, as well as SaaS brands. Her career integrates experiences in journalism and creative agencies, establishing her as a dynamic marketing professional with a broad skill set. While consulting for Fortune 500 companies like Kraft Heinz, Revlon, and ebay, Rebecca was able to play a key role in shaping their brand narratives through social media listening and analytics. The native Floridian embarked on her journalism career by interviewing CEOs of small-cap stock businesses, and later freelancing as a travel writer for Huffington Post. In 2002, she was a pioneer "backpack" journalist, reporting from Namibia, Japan, and Ukraine. Rebecca parlayed her content creation experience into a leadership role at Vocus (now Cision) where she launched their inaugural "State of the Media Report," referenced by CNBC and Forbes. She also started and managed the largest marketing services division at the company, contributing to its half-billion-dollar sale in 2014. Her book, "Finding Cover," set in Orlando, FL, was endorsed by the former publisher of Orlando Magazine and celebrity reporter for People. Her writing has earned awards from MarketingProfs and the Society of Professional Journalists. An established figure in her field, Rebecca frequently speaks at industry conferences, moderates the Content Marketing World Summit, and hosts the YouTube show/podcast "VendorVibes" interviewing hospitality industry professionals. Rebecca lives in the Washington D.C. area with her husband and two small dragons. When she isn’t writing, working or practicing yoga, she’s driving her Jeep Wragler with the top down wishing she was at the beach.
