About
I help mission-driven organizations grow with intention by clarifying purpose, understanding audiences, and designing human-centered strategies that align values with impact. Over the past 20 years, I’ve worked across nonprofit leadership, philanthropy, and mission-driven commercial environments, serving as an Executive Director, marketing and audience development leader, membership and fundraising strategist, and trusted advisor. While my titles have varied, my work has consistently focused on building communities around purpose and translating values into sustainable growth. I specialize in moments of change: launching new initiatives, reimagining engagement models, growing membership or donor communities, and helping organizations navigate evolving narratives, audiences, and futures. My approach blends strategic foresight, human-centered design, and hands-on leadership—grounded in real-world execution, not theory. Recent and current work includes: • Leading multi-channel marketing and community strategy for a K–12 publisher advancing inclusive history education • Designing and launching high-touch engagement programs for philanthropic leaders and funders • Building and scaling membership communities and giving circles from early-stage to national reach • Advising nonprofits and foundations on strategy, messaging, governance, and growth My early career was in arts and cultural leadership, and that foundation continues to shape how I think about experience design, storytelling, and the role of culture in change, though my work today spans far beyond traditional arts institutions. I’m especially drawn to values-centered, creative, and learning-oriented organizations, whether nonprofit, philanthropic, or commercial, that are navigating transition, growth, or reinvention. I thrive in remote, collaborative environments and am open to senior leadership, strategy, and fractional or embedded advisory roles. Always open to conversations with thoughtful leaders working at the intersection of values, community, and growth.
