For more than 20 years, I’ve helped lawyers and legal industry leaders cut through the noise with practical, profitable growth strategies while avoiding the all-too-common trap of “random acts of marketing.” As a creative, solution-driven business development executive and brand builder, I combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach, balancing a strong client service focus with a distinct point of view about how to attract, win, and maintain strong client relationships. My work has helped firms increase client engagement, improve pitch win rates, and launch more cohesive, high-impact brands. I believe a short but actionable list of goals will always be more impactful than a beautifully crafted business plan that sits on a shelf. Whether we’re working together on comprehensive marketing strategies or individual business development efforts, my approach is grounded in practicality and results. After serving in Chief-level marketing and brand roles for law firms and a litigation funder, in 2023 I founded Brook Street Strategies, a boutique agency offering fractional CMO services and strategic marketing consulting to the legal industry. We’ve partnered with more than a dozen law firms and litigation funders since then on a variety of engagements. Most of my portfolio consists of long-term fractional CMO engagements with a select group of boutique firms, but I also take on discrete projects for firms of all sizes, including brand refreshes, website relaunches, marketing assessments, new firm launches, and coaching for lawyers and legal marketing staff. As an experienced team-builder and strategic advisor, I enjoy working with law firm and legal business leaders, as well as fellow legal marketers, serving as either a sounding board for senior professionals or a mentor to those building careers in this dynamic industry.
