I am a marketing leader with years of experience working with early stage and high growth B2B tech companies in network infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, cloud-native, AI/ML, and security. My work includes messaging and positioning, category design, marketing strategy and planning, content strategy and execution, advising on the buildout of the martech stack, demand creation, AR/PR, and more. Often, my work is focused on exiting stealth through company launches and involves category creation and design. Previously, as the leader of a 15+ employee B2B tech marketing agency, I worked with early stage and high-growth VC-funded companies across security, AI/ML, and cloud / network infrastructure. Our services ranged from messaging and positioning to marketing strategy and planning, content strategy and execution, demand activation/revenue marketing, and AR/PR. Our work scaled from company launches to acting as the outsourced marketing department for high-growth companies. As a VP at Riverbed, I had global responsibility for brand and creative services, marketing communications, AR/PR, events, and marketing campaigns/demand creation/revenue marketing across five business units. In that effort, I managed a team of 75+ people + global outside agencies with an annual budget of more than $19M. In addition, I was part of a team that oversaw the integration of five acquisitions into the Riverbed product portfolio. My efforts contributed to revenue growth from $500M to $1B+ and employee growth from 1500+ to 3000+, while maintaining market leadership in the WAN optimization and performance management/visibility categories.
