I've spent the past two decades at the intersection of technology and storytelling, helping companies that were building the future actually explain it to the rest of the world. In 2010, I founded Inner Circle Labs, a frontier tech comms/GTM firm that worked with nearly 200 companies (from music tech startups to enterprise AI) and helped position many of them for successful acquisitions by Apple, Microsoft, CNN, Airbnb, and others. From there I served as CMO at Descartes Labs and GoNoodle, where I learned firsthand what it takes to bring AI products to market and build communities around tech

In 2010, I founded Inner Circle Labs, a frontier tech comms/GTM firm that worked with nearly 200 companies (from music tech startups to enterprise AI) and helped position many of them for successful acquisitions by Apple, Microsoft, CNN, Airbnb, and others. From there I served as CMO at Descartes Labs and GoNoodle, where I learned firsthand what it takes to bring AI products to market and build communities around technology that genuinely serves people. Most recently, I co-founded Fathom.org and led The Ashby Workshops, a series of convenings that brought together technologists, policymakers, and civil society leaders to grapple with what it really means to deploy AI responsibly. Those conversations changed how I think about what technology should be doing in the world. All of that has led me somewhere specific. I'm building a new venture at the intersection of responsible AI and one of the most profound, and underserved, human challenges of our time. More soon. In the meantime, I take on select fractional CMO and advisory engagements with founders and CEOs who are building tech that helps real people — particularly in AI, where the translation gap between what a product does and why it matters is still very wide.
