Before becoming a consultant, I spent more than a decade building and operating my own business. I founded Purple Monkey Playroom in Chicago, transforming an empty storefront into a beloved community destination and award-winning brand before successfully exiting after 12 years. That experience fundamentally shaped how I approach marketing today. I understand the realities of running a business — managing payroll, building teams, and making marketing investments that actually need to produce results.
