The latter gave me amazing on-the-job training for building the marketing function of a digital marketing agency (one of the world’s best) from the ground up. I use lessons from both of these every day, for every client. Mostly, this means working with current or future leaders to develop their personal brand or working to raise the profile of SMB agencies (some started by 3Q alums) doing truly incredible work that’s blowing the doors off of anything you’ll get from big holding companies. Along the way, I’ve helped folks put literally millions of words into the marketing and B2B ecosystems, with bylines for publications like Forbes, Adweek, AdAge, HuffPo, Digiday, Search Engine Land, MediaPost, and lots more. As far as numbers go: ~Led marketing team for independent digital marketing agency; expanded annual MQLs by 1,500% over a nine-year tenure and helped company grow from $5M to $55M in annual revenue. ~Served as Head of Communications, achieving all-time high eNPS score during first year in role. ~Directed marketing efforts (eCommerce and B2B) for a startup and helped company achieve 200% year-over-year revenue growth.
