Elyssa specializes in brands both at the juggernaut startup phase ($1M-$100M) and established at global scale ($2B+) and excels at combining strategic communications (ext and int), with team design, product roadmapping, high impact partnerships, creative branding, and innovative, acquisition-driven community-building. As VP of Global Brand for J.Crew, Chief Brand and Communications Officer for ByHeart, CMO for Sollis Health, and Chief Commercial Officer for Esther Perel (among others), Elyssa has led full-stack Marketing and Commercial Ops functions for over 15 years. Elyssa is an alum of the Costume Institute, where she began her career as a supporting curator, and authored five fashion and art books for Harper Collins. She approaches any new client relationship by focusing on the power and connectivity of brand story first, and believes that every good marketer must have a passion for product above all. Elyssa is an advisor to Hello Therapeutics and The Menopause Project and a co-founder of The Next Happy Thing, a non-profit dedicated to hyper local do-gooding. She started her agency, PMF, to offer expertise to founders focused on Health, Wellness, and Happiness (because...what else is there?).
