Chris transitioned from the restaurant industry into the advertising world, working with renowned agencies and global brands like Bank of America, American Express, and Marriott. His work not only involved smart business strategy, but also assembling effective teams to “wow” clients. Through consistently evaluating talent, he created groups that combined individuals with others that possessed complementary skills. And, while he was always laser focused on achieving successful results, he groomed them for future leadership roles, too. This approach was the secret sauce; strongly believing that diverse teams, working towards a common goal, can eliminate blind spots and drive amazing (kickass) outcomes. The process made Chris deeply understand college students and recent graduates and the subsequent challenges they face. Because of this, he holds a deep respect for them, acknowledging their potential while recognizing the need for guidance and mentorship to shape their capabilities. In today’s competitive job market, they need to acquire essential skills and support that go beyond formal education. This led to the creation of YoPro, a program designed to empower college students and recent graduates by enhancing their confidence and teaching them to articulate their unique qualities in networking and job interviews.
